Montgomery County offers a wide range of tax incentive programs and small business services to ensure the success rate of new and expanding area businesses. These programs and support services benefit large expansion projects, companies locating to the county, and minority-owned businesses and start-up ventures.  The Montgomery County Department of Economic Development assists businesses throughout the county.

The county offers two programs for businesses that are planning to increase both their space and their staff: The New Jobs Tax Credit and the Enhanced New Jobs Tax Credit.
