Free Business Plan Writing Seminars to be Offered Dec. 8 and Dec. 20

A series of free business plan writing seminars will be offered through Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) and the Rockville Chamber of Commerce. The free writing seminars will help kick off the second annual “StartRight!” business plan competition for women entrepreneurs in the DC region. The business plan competition is designed to accelerate the start-up process for women-owned businesses in the region.

The writing seminars are open to both competitors and non-competitors. A course has been scheduled for December 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be led by Jeff Miller of Action International Business Coaching. An evening course has been scheduled for December 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Both courses are limited to 30 people. Women entrepreneurs who participate in the writing courses will acquire the necessary skills and strategies for developing a successful business plan while preparing to enter the StartRight! business plan competition that ends February 18, 2005.
