K through 12
Montgomery
County's public school system is the 17th largest
and the 12th fastest growing in the nation, with 92 percent of the
students graduating. In 2006, it was named a "gold medal" school
system for the eleventh consecutive year by Expansion Management magazine
as a measure of the attractiveness of the K through 12 school system
to the business community. The Montgomery County public school system
was recognized as offering some of the best educational services nationally
on top of being recognized for its well-prepared high school graduates
and having excellent schools in which employees can enroll their children.
In addition to Montgomery County's highly regarded public
